Last week, we walked you through the basics of your acePLAYcasino account. This week, we want to show you the next step in managing your account: purchasing credits and resetting a forgotten password.
Some of you have already figured this out. For the others, when your balance gets low, this is an important know-how. First, view your balance by looking at the top right corner of your screen or selecting the “Balance” tab on your profile dropdown menu.
Buy Credits Page: You can access the credit purchase page right from the home page by clicking the orange “Buy Credits” button right below your balance. You can also access the credit purchase page from the Balance page in your profile.
The credit purchase page shows 6 purchase package options. For those looking to spend their pocket change, we offer 2 packages under $10. If you are looking to make a larger purchase less often, you’ll gain 86% more credits with a $99.99 package and 200% more with our largest package, the $199.99 credit purchase option!
After you make your selection, you’ll see a dropdown menu. At this time, we only allow credit purchases using a credit card. We allow up to 3 cards per account.
If this is your first time purchasing credits or you are using a new credit card, it will take you through a process to gather your necessary personal info. The first page requires your title, full name, and date of birth. It is important that you provide us with your correct date of birth and that you are 21 or older when purchasing credits (you should be at least 21 when creating an account with us). We will verify that the date of birth you provide for us is accurate.
Next, you will come to the credit card account page. We ask you to provide the full name on the credit card you are using, the card number, expiration date, security code (we call it CV2), and a nickname. The nickname is a required field and will be used in the future to easily reference your credit card for repurchasing. We recommend you choose a format such as “Joe’s Credit Card,” “Kate’s Visa,” etc.
Finally, after verifying that your credit card info is correct, we ask for your address details. Required fields are your address, city, state, zip code, and country of residence (we only allow purchases from residents of the U.S. and Canada). You can also provide us with optional details such as your mobile number, home or work phone number, and a promo code you received for a credit purchase discount or deposit match. Scroll down and select or deselect communication preferences as you wish and press the Purchase button. You’re all done!
We will send you a confirmation if your credit card and address were verified as correct. We will also send you a receipt of the purchase to the email account that you used to register with us.
Creating a New Account Password
Players on our site always reserve the right to change their passwords due to forgetting their password, perceiving a threat such as an account hacking, etc. If you want to change your password, here’s how.
If you remember your password: After logging in, click on your username at the top of the screen. Select “Change Password” from the list.
You will be taken to our change password page. The process is very simple: fill in your existing password and your new password; then confirm your new password by typing it again. Each character of your existing and new passwords will be hidden while typing.
As you type your new password, our automated “Password Strength” option will tell you whether your password is strong or weak. We do not require capital letters or special symbols, although we do allow them. Of course, we always recommend that you choose a strong password.
If you forget your password: If you haven’t checked the “remember me” box or written your password down in a place where you can retrieve it, we still have a solution for you.
Click on the Login button on our home page. You’ll see a link that says “Forgot your password?” Click on that link.
Enter your email address and confirm it by typing it again. The email address you use must be the one you used when creating your account. Upon submission, we will send you an email with instructions to reset your password. The email will look something like this:
Click on the link provided in the email and, when prompted, enter your password and confirm it by typing it again. The password you pick may have numbers, special characters, and uppercase letters, but it is not required to contain any of those. We do, however, recommend that you create a password that we identify as a “strong” password.
