Fall is in the air. So are major winnings on our site. In honor of October’s reign as National Poker Month, we’re bringing you exciting opportunities & valuable poker advice all month long.
Super High Roller Tournament
The most notable event we’re offering is the month-long Super High Roller Tournament. The tournament kicks off on the 1st with 1k nightly freerolls and builds up to the Main Event on the 30th. To show you how the series will work, we’re arranging each stage of the tournament according to your acePLAYpoker social class – that is, the amount of chips you have & are willing to spend:
For (nearly) broke players:
The nightly 1k Satellite Freeroll: play in the 1k Freeroll any (or every) night at 6:30pm PST starting on the 1st. If you win, you’ll receive a ticket to one of the 10k tournaments.
For middle-class players:
The 10k Satellite Freeroll: if you’ve got a bit more acePLAY currency to spend, you may want to skip the 1kSatellite and enter directly into our 10k Satellite tournaments. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 8:30pm PST, you’ll have the chance to buy into this tournament. Each winner receives a ticket to the Main Event.
For our high rollers:
The lucky few that have in excess of 100,000 acePLAY chips can buy directly into the Main Event on Oct. 30th at 7:30pm PST, where 1 lucky winner will receive an iPad mini. Don’t fret if you place a little lower – 2nd through 5th places each win a seat to Stratosphere’s next Monthly Deepstack tournament (a $100 value per person). We’d say that’s a pretty good consolation prize.
If you want to check out the tournament details or terms, we’d recommend you visit our Super High Roller tournament page.
Poker Hands Blog Posts
We’re also offering up a bevy of advice for our blog readers throughout October. We realize we’ve been slacking in the advice department, so we’ll be offering up some different scenarios throughout the month with our personal take on how to act. We welcome different opinions, so feel free to leave comments explaining why you agree or disagree and why you might act in a different manner.
